Title I Early Start Summer School

A summer school experience for rising kindergartners who:  have had limited preschool experience (less than six months) and demonstrate academic need.
July 8th-August 1st from 9am-3pm Monday-Thursday

Kick Off to  Kindergarten
Saturday, August 17th from 9am-5pm

Celebrate starting school!  Practice a lunch line, get moving at recess, hop on a school bus and explore circle time.  Have fun finding out all about kindergarten!  Free for new kindergarteners and their families at Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh.

The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction has launched the "Give Five – Read Five" campaign. As a part of this effort, we are asking parents, business leaders and members of our community to donate five new or gently-used books to our elementary school.  There will be boxes for your donation in our main office!

Belk Celebrates 125 Years at Stough

Belk turns 125  this year
and they are celebrating by volunteering 125 days in their local communities.  Over 100 volunteers came to our campus to update our landscape, build picnic tables and benches for our playground, paint global maps and makeover our staff lounge.  Thank you, Belk!

Volunteers are an important part of our school community. Those of you wanting to volunteer for this school school year will need to register as a volunteer on Mondays ONLY. Volunteers may go to any WCPSS site and register through the intranet.
